Warroad Public Schools' students benefit every day from the leadership and vision of our school board members. September is Minnesota School Board Recognition Month, so please take time to thank these dedicated school leaders: Blayke Nelson, Laurie Thompson, Matt Schreiner, Brenda Solar, Cindy Drost, and Gus Booth. School board members devote their time each week to provide leadership for our school district!
FYI the North entrance to the school has not yet been paved/finished. All traffic will have to utilize the South entrance tomorrow, September 3rd. Please take extra care and be patient as we funnel additional traffic through only one entrance/exit.
We loved seeing everyone at open house earlier this week - thanks for coming out and to DQ & Scoops for capping off the night with ice cream for all! 🍦 We can't wait to see you Tuesday, but in the meantime we wish all our Warrior families a Happy Labor Day Weekend! 💛

Reminder that there is Chromebook Check-Out today, August 29th until 12pm for high students in grades 7-12.
Today our teachers got a turn to learn from a variety of presenters, some guests who joined us for the day and others experts from within our school shared their knowledge. Topics ranged from AI and ed-tech to trauma informed practices to a lunch and learn book discussion. 🤓

We're having so much fun welcoming our new teachers to the BEST. TEAM. EVER. this week! There's been time for introductions & onboarding, coffee & treats from LOW Coffee, some fun swag from Marvin & The Max Foundation/Project 11, a potluck lunch & time with mentors, and a Goosechase scavenger hunt today that got our new teachers and mentors out and about learning their way around the school, meeting people, and hitting up a few spots around town.
