WHS Student Council and Mrs. Cole's and Mrs.Hontvet's classes painted Kindness ROCKS today! If you find one of these, consider giving the 3rd grade a shout-out or tagging the WHS Student Council Instagram account or the school Facebook page. Excited to see Kindness rocking in the community! If you find one, make sure to hide it for someone one else to discover!

FYI: Information regarding elementary spring concerts!
Keeping the safety of all of our students in mind, Warroad Elementary will be implementing a few new procedures for the elementary music programs. All of the elementary spring concerts will take place in the High School Gym. The concerts will also be livestreamed for anyone unable to attend. The main High School entrance by the office (Door number 15) will be the ONLY point of entry for the programs. The doors will unlock ½ hour before the performance. We ask that no one attending the concert (including parents, additional family members, friends and community members) enter the building before that time. Following the performance parents will need to sign their child out through the dismissal manager app or through the elementary office (in person) if they wish to pick up a student before the end of the school day. Students can then be picked up at the elementary office doors. At Warroad Schools ANY visitor in the building is required to have a visitor badge and sign in through the elementary office. Other Warroad students (including siblings) will not be dismissed from class to view the concert (livestream will be available). Your child’s safety is a priority to us! Thank you for helping us to implement these changes so that all students are safe in the building. We look forward to you visiting us and attending the programs! 😊

Spread the Word to End the Word is an ongoing effort by the Special Olympics and supporters to bring attention to the dehumanizing and hurtful effects of the R-word and encourages people to take a pledge to stop using the word.
