Due to the increasing spread of Covid-19 in our Community and the impact it is having on our school, Warroad Schools will be moving to a Distance Learning reset this week.
Students will report for a normal day on Monday and can use the time to bring home a device and materials that will allow for a successful Distance Learning experience. Tuesday, November 10 through Friday, November 13 the staff will be utilizing MDE granted transition days to prepare for the Distance Learning phase to make the time a rich educational experience. There will be no student contact or lessons provided on those days.
The official Distance Learning phase will begin on Monday, November 16 and continue through Tuesday, November 24. More information will be forthcoming regarding student expectations for those days. We plan to return to In-Person Learning following Thanksgiving Break on Monday, November 30.
We will be expanding KidKare availability for those with needs during this time. Please continue to watch for more information in the days ahead.
Community Ed and all School Activities will be suspended during these next 2 weeks. The school building will be off limits to all activities during the reset.
