Important Information from Mr. Abernathy:



In response to Executive Order 20-41 issued by Gov. Tim Walz yesterday, all activities and athletics that occur during the spring season have been cancelled for the 2019-2020 school year.


This afternoon Governor Walz announced that we will continue Distance Learning for the remainder of the school year. More information will follow in the days and weeks ahead.
Students will complete the 2019-2020 school year with Distance Learning.

Beginning today, April 23, meals provided to families may include hot meals. Instructions will be included with each individual meal. Please provide any reheating instructions to your child as needed.

Warroad Schools will continue to provide services via distance learning through May 4, 2020 in accordance with the directive of Governor Walz. Childcare, meals, and academic content will continue to be delivered according to current methods. Call the office with questions.

Thinking about the Class of 2020 today...here’s where some are headed next! Let’s continue to celebrate and cheer them on even if we aren’t seeing them in the hallways right now.


Reminder: Meals are provided for All students 4-18. Grab and Go can be picked up at the HS Commons from 11 to 12:30 daily. We also have drop off locations being bused to daily. If you are not able to get to a location, please contact the school so arrangements can be made.

HS Students...
All athletic and PE lockers need to be cleaned out TODAY, Tues. March 17th. ALL LOCKS need to be turned in to Mr. Larson or Mr. Knutson by the end of the day, Tuesday.
Administration is hoping to get a heads start on the reconstruction of the locker rooms.

7th & 8th grade baseball will begin Monday, March 30th, practice will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 5:30-7:00 in the Elementary Gym. Athletes must be registered prior to attending practice. Depending on MSHSL ruling, dates are subject to change.

Beginning Wednesday, Warroad KidKare will be available only to the families of health care workers and emergency responders with children ages 4-12. Please contact the Community Education office if you plan to utilize this service.
