This is an event you won’t want to miss! For the past 6 years, Sowah Mensah has partnered with the Warroad Elementary Music Department to bring African music and culture alive in the classroom. On Saturday, January 18th, Sowah will come to Warroad and bring his 30-piece African Music Ensemble from Macalester College in St. Paul. The ensemble will share their music with Warroad and the neighboring towns at the newly established performing arts center Warroad RiverPlace. We hope you can come and join us as we share this unique and rare opportunity with the community!

Warroad Public Schools' Community Members,
The investigation that was conducted regarding allegations of actions that conflicted our Policy 209 – Board Member Code of Ethics has concluded. There will be a Special Meeting held on December 19, 2024 at 7a.m. that will be closed unless opened at the request of the respondent.
We can confirm that the findings did not substantiate any violations. Our board continues to be committed to student, staff, and community success. We appreciate the patience of the community and the work from the independent investigator and look forward closing this matter as we end 2024.
Also, we wish you a happy holiday season and look forward to welcoming our two new board members this coming year.
